General:

1) The British Juggling Convention 2027 (The Event) is run by The Hoop Troop Limited (The Organisers) and by attending The Event you agree to adhere to any reasonable requests from The Organisers as well as the following terms and conditions.

​

2) No selling or trading of goods or services is permitted at The Event without prior permission from The Organisers. 

​

3) Although we will endeavour to deliver The Event as advertised; activities, shows and performers may be subject to change. 

​

4) Commercial photography or videography is not permitted at The Event without the express permission of The Organisers. The use of personal camera equipment is permitted. If any personal media is to later be used for commercial reasons permission is to be sought from The Organisers before use. 

​

5) By attending The Event you are giving your consent to be recorded audibly or visually. 

​

6) Unauthorised vehicles will not be permitted on site. Any live-in vehicles will require a 'Live in Vehicle Pass' in order to remain on site overnight. Any cars using the venue car parking will require a 'Car Pass'. 

​

6a) All on-site parking tickets and live-in vehicle tickets are only valid for full-week ticket holders. Please don't purchase parking tickets with day or half-day tickets, you will not be able to use them and they will not be refunded. 

​

7) The Organisers are unable to accept any liability for personal or property damages, losses or injuries sustained at this event – other than caused as a result of our negligence. 

​

8) You are responsible for your behaviour whilst attending The Event; acting in a hostile, abusive or aggressive manner to The Organisers, Volunteers, Contractors, other attendees, or any other individual at The Event, will result in your removal from The Event. In such a situation, no refund will be given for any tickets purchased. The Organisers reserve the right to remove any individual from the event for inappropriate behaviour without the need to issue prior warnings.

Refunds:

 

9) Tickets are non-refundable. In exceptional circumstances only The Organisers may refund tickets, subject to a formal written request being made to the britishjuggling2027@gmail.com email address. If approved, the cost will be refunded minus a £10 admin fee per ticket. 

​

10) Tickets are non-transferrable, reselling tickets will result in the ticket being invalidated. 

​

11) In the event that The Event cannot happen due to circumstances beyond the control of The Organisers your ticket will be refunded minus £10 per ticket. 

​

Age Policy: 

​

12) Everybody in attendance, regardless of age, is required to have registered for The Event, either in advance or on the door. Tickets are only available directly from The Organisers, via our webstore at www.jugglingedge.com/registration/ or on the door at The Event. 

​

13) Child attendance is Free (£0) for children aged 0–7 years but must be accompanied by a ticket holding Adult (18+) with a minimum of 1 Adult for every 4 children. 

​

14) Youth (8–12 years) attendance is ticketed at a lower price than adult and teen tickets. Youths must be accompanied by a ticket holding Adult (18+) with a minimum of 1 Adult for every 8 youths. 

​

15) Teen (13–17 years) attendance is ticketed at a lower price than adult tickets. Teens must be accompanied by a ticket holding Adult (18+) with a minimum of 1 Adult for every 10 Teens. 

​

16) All attendees aged under 18 will receive a distinct 'Under 18' pass. 

​

16a) Anybody with an 'Under 18' pass will not be able to purchase alcohol on site or be admitted to any shows or performances with a 'mature' rating. 

​

17) ID will be required to purchase alcohol on site in line with 'Challenge 25' guidance.

​

18) Blank wristbands will be available on which guardians can write their dependents contact details. 

​

19) We do not accept any parental or supervisory duty of care or liability for any under 18s on site. 

​

Tickets and Passes: 

​

20) Physical tickets will not be provided. Upon purchasing your ticket you will receive a confirmation email, this 'e-ticket' is your proof of purchase, please bring a paper or digital copy with you when you arrive on site in order to streamline the registration process. 

​

21) Once registered you will be issued with a pass. You MUST keep this pass with you at all times. Failure to produce your pass when requested could result in your eviction from The Event. 

​

22) Transferring of passes is strictly forbidden and will result in your eviction from The Event. 

​

23) Day and ½ Day tickets are valid either until 6pm (if the ticket ends, at the end of the day) or until 11am (if the ticket ends after camping). Any extension to this will require a ticket upgrade. 

​

Security: 

​

24) The Event security team are fully SIA licensed and attendees are required to adhere to any reasonable requests made of them by the security team. 

​

25) Volunteers may monitor some of the pass checkpoints throughout The Event where SIA security are not necessary, they are there to ensure that everybody attending The Event has the right to do so. Treat them with the utmost respect (and offer them tea and cake where appropriate). 

​

26) If security have reasonable cause to suspect that you have with you something, which may be considered a danger to yourself or others, either upon your person or with your belongings, you may be required to submit to a search. Refusal to comply will result in your eviction from The Event. 

​

Site: 

​

27) No generators are permitted on site without prior approval from The Organisers.

 

28) Fire lane access must be maintained at all times, there must be absolutely no obstruction for any emergency services vehicles on site. 

​

29) Open fires are not permitted anywhere on site. 

​

30) Any cooking equipment must be used outside in accordance with the manufacturer's safety guidance. Any hot surfaces must be raised from the ground as the venue may be held liable for significant damage to the grass and be billed for repairs. 

​

31) All attendees must vacate the site by 2pm on Thursday the 1st of April and attendees are responsible for ensuring their camping area is clear of rubbish and belongings. 

​

32) No animals are permitted on site except assistance dogs. 

​

33) Vehicles are not permitted on any grassed areas without express permission from The Organisers.
